SIDOLI FOODS
SIDOLI FOODS WANTED TO COVER A NUMBER OF ISSUES. THESE INCLUDED:
- Reduces traffic accident claims by providing video evidence around the vehicle
- Monitor other road traffic to reduce down time and lateness
- A forward facing camera giving coverage of the road ahead
- Internal monitor utilised for reversing and blind spots.
A solution was implemented in which 4 cameras per vehicle were installed. These were focussed on a forward facing camera giving coverage of the road ahead, blind spots on driver and a camera on the rear of the vehicle, also utilised for reversing.
The system provided a dual capability with regards to viewing video information; firstly the on-board digital video recorder (DVR) recorded all the data on its secure password protected memory. Secondly, the DVR was fitted with a 3G streaming option which allowed Sidolito remotely monitor live video feeds at any time.
